Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Born in East York, Ontario on June 30, 1955, Mark James Bryers of Owen Sound, was in his 69th year.
Dear brother of Claire Warner (John) of Scarborough. Mark will also be missed by the Warner family, especially Chris McNeil and Linda Grant, his godparents Edna and Al McCauley, as well as his Community Living and Southbridge families and friends. Predeceased by his parents Luke William and Patricia Marie Bryers (nee Cooney).
Mark was known for his unique fashion, his bling, and his cowboy boots. His love for sports was dedicated to cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs and watching wrestling and monster trucks. He was a fan of the Osmonds, Dr. Phil, movies and T.V. His favorite place was Las Vegas, where he had visited, as Mark was always looking to have fun.
A funeral service to celebrate Mark’s life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Community Living Owen Sound and District and Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
