Passed away peacefully at Brightshore Health Systems on November 16th, 2023.
Born in Norwich on April 11, 1031, Marion Ruth Walker of Owen Sound was in her 93rd year.
Beloved wife of Russell (deceased) of Owen Sound. Loving mother of Laura Cleckner and her husband Paul, of Durham and father-in-law of Lenora Walker, of Shelburne. Proud grandmother of Robert, Michael, and Christine Walker.
Marion will be missed by her nieces, Yvonne Damaresq, Debbie (Dave) Hickey and Patty Norris and their families; her nephews, Michael (Erika) Dumaresq, Paul (Kelly) Dumaresq and Bruce (Sherry) Norris and their families; her sister-in-law, Rose Norris.
Predeceased by her parents, George Norris and his wives, Ethel Norris and Beth Russell Walker, in laws Elsworth and Kate Walker, her son Kevin Walker; her stepsister Delores (Rae) Dumaresq; her nephew, Blaine Norris; her brother, Kenneth Norris; her sister-in-law, Clara Norris.
A Memorial Service for Marion Ruth Walker will be held in the Chapel of the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250-14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492 on Saturday December 2, at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Rebecca Hewson officiating.
