It is with great sadness we announce the passing of June Sine on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Bleeker and Edith Meyers (nee Curtis). Predeceased by cherished husband for 59 years Grenville Sine. June was the beloved mother of Brian (Marcia) of Toronto, Christopher (Shelly) of Frankford and Sharilyn Voskamp (Bryan) of Trenton and loving grandmother of Tiffany (Jesse), Cassondra (Nathan), Darcy, Celia (Travis), Reece, Kimberly and Marvin. Great Grandmother of Harvey. June is survived by her sister Shirley Coulter (late Eugene). Predeceased by her sisters Elsie Hagerman (Ray), Evelyn Meyers, Ila Meyers, her brother Frank Meyers (Marjorie) and infant brother John Meyers. June will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. June was a Registered Nurse, graduating from Belleville General Hospital in 1953. A special thank you to Dr. Pincock and the nursing team at Quinte Gardens 3rd floor unit for the wonderful care they gave June. Arrangements are entrusted to the RUSHNELL FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588). Funeral Service will be held at the Westminster United Church, Wallbridge-Loyalist Road, on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Rev. Richard Hamilton officiating. Interment in the family plot at Sine Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to Westminster United Church or Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
