Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Sunday, August 6, 2023, Marilyn Strong of Clarenville, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents Eric and Farley Strong; special granddaughter Kelsey. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters Tracy and Jennifer; her daughter Lorna (adopted at birth by loving parents) and her family; grandchildren Chyanne (Mitchell) and Brooklyn; great grandchildren Sawyer and Fletcher; sister Denise Flynn (Tony); brothers Harold (Karen), Gary and Vaughn; her nieces and nephews; and a large circle of family and friends. And we can’t forget her beloved cats Oscar and Molly. Cremation has taken place. Visitations will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Fewer’s Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment to follow at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
A special thank you to the staff at G B Cross Medicine, Emerg and OBS during her recent stay, and the staff of Cozy Quarters. Your kindness and compassion will never be forgotten.
