Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in her eightieth year. Beloved wife and soulmate of the late Peretz Silverman for fifty-five years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Ann Silverman, Lisa and Lorne Levitt, the late Frimie Sue and the late Brian Silverman. Devoted Bubbie of Brandon and Alexandra, Evan, Zachary, and Adam Silverman; Sydney, and Cameron Levitt. Cherished sister and sister-in-law of Connie Dorfman and the late Mel Leitman; and sister-in-law of Ozzie and Sheela Silverman, and the late Jerry Silverman. Daughter of the late Sylvia and the late Ben Silverstein. She will be deeply missed by her loving nieces, nephews, and their children Allison Dorfman, Robert Hamou, Alexa and Chloe, Heidi Dorfman, Jason Toledano, Brooklyn and Jax. Marilyn was a pillar of strength and lived every minute of her life with the one unselfish desire, to please everyone around her. She always showed an unparalleled joy and pride in her grandkids, great-nieces and great-nephew. She was truly our greatest cheerleader. She will be missed by her many close friends and family members whose lives she impacted. The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to Dr. Clément Déziel of the Nephrology Department and the amazing staff at Hôpital Sacré Cœur for their excellent care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Monday, March 11 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, Anshei Ozeroff Section, de la Savane. Shiva at 106 rue Ryan, D.D.O.
