It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marilyn Scheffer after a long and courageous battle on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of Joel for over sixty years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Rhonda and Ronen, and Natalie and Robbie. Proud grandma of Daniel and Maya. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Edna and Seymour Eisenberg, Thelma and the late Fred Campbell, Roz and Norm Stotland, and the late Neil Scheffer. With deep appreciation, special mention to our family, nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and extended family who helped us through this difficult time and who brought our family such loving comfort and support. The family is eternally grateful to Dr. Panasci for his incredible care. The family would also like to thank the wonderful Palliative Care staff at Pavillion B of the Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, March 5 at 10:00 am. Burial the at Hebrew Protective Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva Private.
