Marilyn Ringel Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System Owen Sound on Sunday, August 11, 2024. Born in Toronto on Tuesday, December 13, 1949, Marilyn Ann Ringel (nee Summers) of Owen Sound, was in her 75th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of Hud Ringel. Loving mother of Shawn Ringel, Tania Slack (Ken), Trudy Funston (Dale), and mother-in-law of Sandra Ringel. Cherished grandmother of Morgan Ringel, Tyler Funston and Lauren Slack. Dear sister of Helen Gerber (Ken). Marilyn will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Mary Jane Summers, her daughter Tammy Ringel, her in-laws Henry and Ida Ringel, and her best friend Gertie Feltis.
Marilyn was a passionate member of the First Baptist Church, and the Canadian Baptist Women of Ontario and Quebec organization. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at the Owen Sound Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, on Sunday August 18, 2024, from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
