Marilyn Joan Carlson aged 85 years of Watrous passed away at Manitou Lodge / Watrous District Health Complex Watrous Saskatchewan on Sunday, December 24th, 2023 .
Marilyn was born in Simpson; the daughter of Harvey and Myrtle Gundry and elder sister to Allan. She married Allen Carlson in 1958 and together they went on to have three sons and many grandchildren to fill out their family tree.
An especially kind and thoughtful person, Marilyn was dedicated to her family. Besides being a skilled baker and pianist, she greatly enjoyed researching local history and the genealogy of her loved ones. She was adept at trivia games and always ready to assist a charity or person in need. A social butterfly, she possessed a gentle wit and ready laugh.
Marilyn loved everyone – even those who were hard to love. She passed away with family by her side in Watrous. All who knew her will miss her, and she will be remembered for her radiance and how she made others feel.
