A resident of Chatham, Marie “Mary” Leschyshyn, has passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Riverview Gardens in Chatham at the age of 97.
Marie was born in Fort Frances, Ontario in 1926 and moved to Chatham during the Second World War. She is predeceased by her loving husband Joe (1999). Survived by her sons Gerry (Cathy) and Ric (Jan), three grandsons, Josh, Warren and Jeff and two great grandsons, Jacob and Lucas.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Riverview Gardens for the care and kindness that they have shown Mary over the last six years.
Her family has chosen to remember her privately. A private interment at Arnold Cemetery will take place.
Friends wishing to remember Marie with a memorial donation are asked to consider The Soup Kitchen at Praise Fellowship Church.
