With family at her side, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the age of 92 to join her beloved husband the late Salvatore Mazzucco. Devoted mother of Anna (Leo) and Rita (Peter). Loving grandmother of Leanne, Samuel, Nicolas and Emily. Maria will be sadly missed by extended family and friends in Canada, Italy and the United States. Maria will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family as well as her courageous and determined spirit.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Islington and Kipling), on Thursday, August 31 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 3055 Bloor Street W., on Friday, September 1 at 11 a.m. Entombment Park Lawn Mausoleum. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the Daily Bread Food Bank.
