Maria Manuela Ribeiro Nunes De Oliveira September 23, 1934 – February 25, 2024
In loving memory of Maria Manuela (Tia), whose grace and gentle presence touched our lives with compassion and unwavering love. She unexpectedly passed away on Feb 25, 2024, in her 89th year. Maria had a heart as soft as a feather, always ready to offer comfort and support to those she loved. She had a way of making everyone feel valued and loved, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her. Yet, while Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit of love and compassion will continue to guide and inspire us.
Maria Manuela has now joined her soulmate in heaven, Fernando Santos De Oliveira. She will be dearly missed by her sister, Mana Dores, late brother-in-law Ramirez, sister-in-law Deolinda, late brother-in-law Germano, a special aunt to Carla (Jamie), Ana (Paul), Paula (Carlos) and Sergio. She is leaving behind two young men who adored her and who she considered her grandsons, Bryce, and Evan. She will also be missed by her two great nephews Ricardo and João.
Though we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life Maria lived and the profound impact she had on each of us. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing that her love will live on in the memories of those she touched.
Our family is forever grateful for the staff of Centennial Place in Millbrook, for their unwavering love and care of our Tia, you have all touched our hearts.
Maria will be celebrated with a small family gathering. In lieu of flowers a donations can be made in her memory Sick Kids Hospital Foundation or Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
