God called Maria Giancola peacefully on April 5, 2023 at the age of 89.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband Michele. Cherished by her dear children Nick (Anna) and daughter in law Bernice. Proud Nonna to Michael, Maria Christina (Brendan), Lucas and Jacob. Adoring Bisnonna to Vienna. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Maria is now reunited in Heaven with her son Gino along with her siblings. Maria’s passion in life was her love of flowers and family. She would be honoured to be surrounded by both as a tribute to her life.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Maple Chapel (211 McNaughton Road East 905-303-0770) on Monday April 10, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Drive, east of Jane Street). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Bayview Avenue, south of Hwy 7).
