It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Margit Maria Jakab on Friday, January 13, 2023, in her 68th year. Born in Baktaloranthaza, Hungary on September 15, 1955.
She leaves behind her 3 daughters, Beata (Luciano), Katalin (Frank), Andrea (Darko), and her loving grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Janos Jakab. She is survived by her sister Eva (Laszlo) Kovacs, and brother Janos (Gyongyi) Jakab.
She was a proud and dedicated employee of Voortman Cookies for the past 33 years, from which she gained many wonderful friends.
Nothing made our mother happier than watching her family enjoy her famous home cooked meals.
She was a kind and gentle soul who was loving and generous. She always made time for those closest to her and for those in need. Her smile always lit up the room, which made you gravitate towards her.
She will forever be in our hearts.
