WALLIS, Ann Margaret (Adamcryck; nee: Adams) – With sad hearts we share the peaceful passing of Margaret on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in her 99th year. Margaret was predeceased by her husbands Julien (Coobie) Adamcryck and Tom Wallis. She was the beloved mother of Bunny (Bernice) Alexander (Tom Cottringer), the late John Adamcryck (Marie) and Larry (Sandra) Adamcryck. Cherished grandmother of Michael Adamcryck (Amanda), Todd Adamcryck, Travis Adamcryck (Rose), Kristi Adamcryck and JJ Alexander. Margaret was the special great grandma to Logan Alexander, Burke Adamcryck, Alex Adamcryck and Olivia Adamcryck. Margaret is survived by her sister Tillie (late Angus) and her sister-in-law Barbara Adams (late Sidney). Predeceased by her parents Sidney and Maggie Adams and her siblings Jean Hopkins (Alan), Shirley Veltri (Orlie), Ann Coles (Ron), Mary Cote (Gerry), Norene Jolin (Nap), Lillian Tonita (Chris), Elizabeth Adams, Frank Adams, John Adams (Lena), Sidney Adams and Arthur Adams. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her caring God daughter Debi Forhan who compassionately supported Margaret and her family over the past months and by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Over the years Margaret was a member of the CWL of St. Alexander Church, Fonthill, the Fonthill Firefighters Auxiliary, Big Sisters, Welland and Port Colborne and the Rose City Seniors. She enjoyed travel, playing bridge and most especially family times.
In keeping with Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, August 10th, 2023 from 4 – 7 p.m. A private family burial will take place in the Fonthill Cemetery at a later date.
