Obituary
Passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home in St. John’s, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, Johanna Margaret Dobbin (nee Aylward), aged 80 years.
Predeceased by her husband Cornelius “Con” Dobbin, parents Richard & Sarah Aylward, sisters: Frances, Loretta, Ursula, Rita, Josephine, Florence and Alice and all other extended family members of the Dobbin and Aylward families.
Leaving to mourn her daughter Brenda (Bruce) Young, sons Paul (Trina) and Neil (Eileen); grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Joseph Dobbin, Jessica Eddie, Stacey Dobbin, Tyler Dobbin, Jennel Young, Maranda Dobbin and Mackenzie Ryan; great-grandchildren: Jordan Young, Emma Dobbin, Logan Dobbin, Nevaeh Eddie, Braille Young, Nathan Dobbin, Bryson Young and Natalie Dobbin; sisters: Mary (Charlie d.) English, Anne Learning, Evelyn Aylward and Beverley (Richard) Head; brothers: Aiden (Paula), Pius (Delores), Austin and Michael (Debbie) and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, including her many friends at Maplewood Seniors Complex.
Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Monday, September 25 and Tuesday, September 26, from 1 – 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 27, at 11am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s.
