Margaret Hynes Obituary
It is with very heavy hearts that we, the family announce the passing of Annette Hynes on Saturday, December 16th, 2023 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 71 years.
Annette will always be remembered for her genuine kindness toward everyone she met. She valued the relationships she made over the thirty six years she worked at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital. She loved her Wednesday night bingo, the Twilight 50+ Club and after retirement; her new found love for painting class and playing guitar. Every friend was a special friend to her and she had many.
Leaving to mourn with many fond and precious memories her: loving partner of thirty five years, Wayne White; her one and only pride and joy, daughter Trenda Acorn and her husband who she adored Mike Acorn; special loving family: Patricia (Malcolm) Doucette, Philomena Hynes, Donna Dobbin, Brenda (Pete) Leskovich, Marie (Scott) Mallinson, Darlene (Nish) Marche, Edna Willis; sister-in-law Imelda Hynes; the White family and her special sister-in-law Diane, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents: Gordon and Veronica Hynes; sister Linda Hynes; brother Lawrence Hynes; brothers-in-law: Henry Hynes and Dave Willis.
Special thank you to the staff at both Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the kindness and compassion.
As Annette’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Tuesday, December 19th, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Maria Regina Parish in Port au Port East. Service to follow on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Maria Regina Parish. Interment to follow at Maria Regina Parish Cemetery, Port au Port East.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Twilight 50+ Seniors Club, Port Au Port East.
