It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marek (Mark) Wieslaw Kwiecien on November 18th, 2024, at the age of 65.
Marek was a cherished and loving husband, father, son, brother and brother-in-law. He was a caring and devoted friend, neighbour and work colleague to many.
He loved his family and friends and had a tremendous passion for life, carpentry, assisting or helping those around him, vacationing at the cottage up north, and exploring Europe, especially his home country of Poland.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, sons Michael and Brandon, Mother Michalina, brothers Thomas and Andrew, sisters in law: Anna, Grazyna, Lidia and brothers-in-law Tadeusz, Slawomir, and nephews and nieces.
His departure leaves an unfillable void in our hearts and lives, yet we find comfort in the memories and everlasting love we shared.
In remembrance of Marek (Mark) visitations will be held on Thursday, November 28th from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home at 847 Rymal Rd.East in Hamilton.
The church service will be held on Friday, November 29th at 11 a.m. at the St.Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church at 620 Rymal Rd. East in Hamilton with cremation to follow.
The family welcomes donations to the St.Patrick’s Church Demazenod Door Outreach in Hamilton as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
