Passed away in her sleep on June 28, 2024 in her 99th year. Waiting for her in Heaven is her loving husband Kazimierz (2009) with whom she celebrated 62 wonderful years, son Tadeusz (1998) and daughter Mary (1948). Mourning her loss is daughter Halina (Jim) Roznawski. Loving “Babcia” (Grandmother) of Robert and wife Nancy Roznawski; Mark Roznawski and girlfriend Chantelle, Erika and Caroline Tarnowski. Precious “Busia” (Great-Grandmother) of Ava and Lukas Roznawski and Alex Tarnowski. Survived by sister Louise (Edward) Kapustiak and sister-in-law Jadwiga Moscicki. Predeceased by brother Joseph, sisters Phyllis Grayce and Victoria Horvath. Many nieces and nephews survive in the Windsor area.
Malwina was born in Ontario and immigrated to Poland at the age of six. She returned briefly to Canada with her parents after WWII but rejoined her husband in Poland. In 1960 the family immigrated to Canada. She lived a full and somewhat difficult life but through it all, she met her challenges with grace, strength and deep faith. If you so desire, memorial donations may be made to the “Ursuline Sisters, AHJ”, who Mom greatly respected for their deep devotion to God and Community. Our “Mom”, “Babcia”, “Busia” will be missed and never forgotten for her sweet nature, kind heart and honesty.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the “Sandwich Towne Team” at The Village of Aspen Lake. Your care and compassion will never be forgotten.
Visitation will be Friday, July 05, 2024 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 8 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Road, East Windsor (519-969-5841). Everyone is invited to meet at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 1035 Ellis Street East on Saturday, July 06, 2024 for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Windsor Memorial Gardens.
