Bauman, Mahlon
Peacefully went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the age of 91 years.
Beloved husband of Edna (Martin) Bauman for almost 65 years. Dear father of Sharon and Harold Paisley, Arnie and Katie Bauman, Doreen and Rick Shantz, Don and Carolyn Bauman. Loving grandpa to 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Survived by siblings Abner (Rosie) Bauman, Irene Snyder, Leona Bastiaansen, Nyle (Kathy) Bauman, and sisters-in-law Laura Martin and Florence Martin.
Predeceased by parents Urias and Annie Bauman, step-mother Katie Bauman, brother Elmer Bauman, brothers-in-law Mervin Snyder, Mike Bastiaansen, Leonard (Mary) Martin, Mahlon (Marjorie) Martin, Aaron Martin, and Ernie Martin.
Mahlon was a longtime employee of ESM Martin Ltd. in Wallenstein, and a dedicated member of Woodside Bible Fellowship for many years. Above all, he was faithful, loving and a constant provider for his family.
Visitation will take place on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 4-7 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A private interment for extended family will take place in Hawkesville Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Public funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at Woodside Bible Fellowship, 200 Barnswallow Dr., Elmira with reception in the fellowship hall. The funeral will be livestreamed and can be accessed on Mahlon’s tribute page of the funeral home website.
Memorial donations to Conestoga Bible Camp or Woodside Bible Fellowship – Missionary Funds would be appreciated, and may be made through the funeral home.
