It is with sadness that the family of the late Madeline M. Curtis announces her passing at the Lionel Kelland Hospice, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 83 years
Madeline was born on June 18, 1941, leaving to mourn her family with beautiful loving memories. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Warren Charles Curtis she became a loving mother to 3 beautiful children;
Judy (Rob) grandchildren, LeeAnn and Adam.
Great-grandchildren, Harrison and Penton.
Joan (Gary) Grandchild,Trevor.
Roy (Judy) Grandchildren, Laura and Kenneth.
Also leaving to mourn, siblings; Maureen (Lambert), Eddie (Brenda),
Terry (Grace), & Marilyn (Gary).
Madeline was the strong right arm and helper for her Charles and a great friend to those who knew her. Her wit, quick responses and outbursts of laughter will be life long memories for the family. She loved the outdoors, time at the cabin and camping with the family and a boil-up of course!
Madeline was predeceased by her parents, Harry Harold and Daisy Dorothy Little; Brothers, George, Harvey, Joseph; and Sister, Louise.
The family would like to thank the Hospital staff and also the Lionel Kelland Hospice on St Catharine St, Grand Falls-Windsor for their over and beyond sympathetic, empathetic and loving care for their mom and the family. If you have an opportunity to support or donate to Lionel Kelland Hospice in the future, please do so, once the service is needed, you will appreciate them more than you know.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation of funeral service and this time.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
