Obituary
It is with sadness the families of Madeline Cassell (nee Kean) announce her passing on Monday, January 9th, 2023 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 79 years.
Leaving to mourn with many memories are her daughter Susan (Johnny), son Larry (Debra), grandchildren; Joshua Cassell, Travis Cassell and great granddaughter Ashley. Her sisters; Vera Strange (Sidney), Mabel Burry (Edgar, Geraldine Chester (Vincent): brothers; Thomas Kean (Sheila), Wayne Kean (Sharron) and Benjamin Kean (Phyllis). Brother-in-law Guy Cassell as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Reginald Cassell. Parents Sarah Ann and Benjamin Kean and brother-in-law Raymond Cassell.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the St. Bartholomew, Anglican Church in Jackson’s Arm, NL, on Thursday, January 12th, 2023, from the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Thursday January 12th, 2023 at 2:00 pm, with Rev Charlene Laing officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of the church cemetery in Jackson’s Arm, NL.
