In Loving Memory of Douglas (Mack) Tompkins. January 29, 1965- March 24, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mack, a cherished son, brother, and friend, who departed from this world on March 24, 2024 at the age of 59. Mack was born on January 29, 1965, and from that moment on, he brought immeasurable love and joy into the lives of all who knew him. Mack is survived by his brother Allen and sister Evelyn Potts, nieces Amanda (Rob) and Tanya and nephew Stewart (Jessica).
Throughout his life, Mack taught us invaluable lessons about compassion, acceptance, and the true meaning of unconditional love. He approached each day with a sense of wonder and optimism, reminding us to appreciate the beauty in the simplest of moments.
He is also survived by a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched profoundly in his 25 years living at Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living. He graced the world with his prankish smile and deep belly laughs. Mack touched the hearts of all who knew him with his gentle hugs and genuine friendship.
Though he may no longer be with us, Mack’s spirit will forever live on in our memories.
Mack will rest at Huebner’s Funeral Home on Wednesday March 27th from 7pm till 9pm. Cremation to follow.
Rest in peace, dear Mack. Your light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
