Knox, Mabel Irene Knox (Carter)
It is with immense heartbreak and sorrow, that we announce the passing of the loving matriarch of the Knox family, Mabel Irene Knox (Carter) on August 21, 2024.
She was the ever-loving wife of Art (Arthur) Knox for 63 years. Adored mother to Janice (Henry) Catry and Heather Knox. Cherished grandma of Rebecca (Klaas) Reyneveld, Kristen Anderson (Ricky) and Zach Carty. The light of her life her great-grandchildren Kacey, Brynleigh, and Bryce Reyneveld and Emmitt Geoffrey.
Mabel is predeceased by her parents Ollen and Gladys Carter, her siblings Hamilton, Verne, Gordon, Eva and Victor.
She leaves behind her sister and brothers-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews, family member, friends and neighbours.
Fondly remembered by Frazer and Mary Andrews and family, Kathy Rhylett and Sue Lake.
As per Mabel’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held on September 28, 2024 at the Ingersoll Senior Centre, 250 Ingersoll St. S., Ingersoll from 1 -4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ingersoll Senior Centre or charity of your choice and may be arranged through the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 519-425-1600.
Mabel, Betty, and Marilyn will be shopping up a storm in heaven!
