– With broken hearts and many tears we lost a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, niece, aunt, and best friend to many. Mabel known to her family as «Little Mabel» and «Yoda» to her friends was loved and cherished. She never turned her back on anyone and was always there to lend a helping hand. Those hands also turned her love of flowers into a blooming garden, which was her pride and joy. Mabel also loved being outside, going for walks with her dog Brandy and watching the birds with her beautiful Granddaughter Ella
– Dearly missed by her Son Aaron Bassett, Granddaughter Ella Bassett, Mother Shirley Keir, Predeceased Step-Father Wally Keir, Her Brother and Best friend Douglas Hall, Nephew Sean Hall, Father Doug Hall, Aunt «Big» Mabel & Uncle Keith Durnford, Uncle Ben Durnford, Uncle Frank Durnford, Former Spouse Marc Bassett, Partner in crime Jonathan Hains, and many friends from her 25 years at Soroc with connections to Bulloch and Canadian Tire
– In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
