With profound sadness we announce the passing of Lynne at home on July 3, 2024, at 80 years of age. Loving father of Shelley Ann Schraeder and David Schraeder. Treasured grandpa of Case VanBelle (Irelynn) and Aaron VanBelle. He will be sadly missed by Sherry Schraeder.
Lynne supervised the Skill Trades as a dedicated Millwright and worked for Chrysler for more than 39 years before retiring. Lynne’s grandsons meant everything to him, and he enjoyed watching them play hockey. He was avid boater in his day and loved his travels to Put in Bay with his daughter. Lynne was born and raised on Pelee Island and loved to drag his kids there whenever he could. Another past time for Lynne was to ride his beloved Harley on the open road.
Donations in Lynne’s memory may be made to Royal Canadian Legion Branch 201 Poppy Fund. A life celebration will be held at the Legion in Es on Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cremation
arrangements are under the care of the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) in Es.
