It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Lynne Glover (nee MacNeil) on Wednesday, June 28 in Orangeville, Ontario at the age of 55.
Lynne was born in Cambridge, Ontario on October 28, 1967 to Murdoch and Catherine MacNeil.
She will be remembered as an amazing friend to all who knew her and her smile and laugh were infectious. Lynne cared deeply for the people around her and made an impact on many lives. She always looked forward to her monthly get-togethers with lifelong friends Fatima, Carmin, Alcinda, and Maria. She will be forever missed.
Lynne is survived by her husband Doug and sons Carson and Adam, sister Sarah Rees (husband Ray) and nieces Chelsea and Hannah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First Street, Orangeville. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 11 at 11:00 am at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 42 Dawson Road, Orangeville. A reception will follow at Dods & McNair Reception Centre.
Lynne was an advocate for Canadian Blood Services. In lieu of flowers, the Glover family would appreciate donations in Lynne’s honor.
A tree will be planted in memory of Lynne in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
