On July 16, 2024, Lynn was reunited with her loving husband of 40 years John (2023) and daughter Crystal (2013), at the age of 73. Lynn passed away peacefully with her loving daughter Venessa and sister-in-law Sonia Puccio by her side, after a courageous battle with COPD.
Lynn was born in Windsor, Ontario on February 25, 1951 to Geraldine Langlois and John Carroll. Lynn was employed at various retail establishments over the years. Throughout her life, she was an avid bowler and an excited fan at her daughter’s baseball games. She loved playing cards with her family, going to the bingo, spending time with her cats, enjoying time by the pool and reading her son’s published books.
Lynn was the beloved mother of Venessa Sidelnyk (Sarah Henderson), Jason Howard (Ju-won), and the late Crystal. Loving grandmother of Graham Giegerich, Elise Howard, Avery and Everett Parker. She will be forever remembered by many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Lynn will be greatly missed by her cats.
Lynn’s family would like to thank all of the PSW’s, RN’s, and RPN’s that took such great care of her over many years. Special thanks to Lynda from St. Elizabeth Healthcare, who became more like family than a care giver.
Lynn’s legacy will be her positive attitude toward life, the kindness and generosity that she freely gave to everyone and all of the loving memories that will be forever cherished.
If you so desire, donations to Windsor/Es Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial visitation Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service to celebrate Lynn’s life at 11:30 a.m.
