Obituary
Lynda Ann Peckford: Passed peacefully away on May 13, 2023 at the Health Science Complex, St. John’s with friends by her side. She was 73 years of age. She leaves to mourn a large circle of family and friends.
Lynne lived life to the fullest and she loved to chat to whoever she came in contact with in any given day! She loved going on little excursions on the weekends when she was well enough to do so.
Lynne was an avid golf player in her day and loved to tell stories about her golfing days when she lived in Ontario, but above all that she dearly loved her cat Daisy!
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of CNRHC in Grand Falls-Windsor for the exceptional care given to Lynne during her short stay there. As well thanks you to the doctors and nurses of 4 North A at the Health Science Complex in St. John’s. You all went above and beyond in caring for Lynda in the last couple of weeks. Also a big thank you to her home support workers Mary and Gloria.
She will be missed by her two besties as she liked to call them, Tobie and Paula.
Donations in Lynn’s memory can be made to the Lionel Kelland Hospice in Grand Falls-Windsor.
Cremation will take place with a graveside service at a later date.
