Obituary of Lynda Marie Lewis (nee McCormack)
Born Toronto, Ontario February 23, 1952. Died Waterloo, Ontario, March 1, 2023
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lynda Marie Lewis (nee McCormack) at the age of 71 after a brief illness.
Beloved mother and best friend of Kristen and her two rescue dogs, Jax and Cooper. Much loved sister to brothers Richard and Robert (Gina) and sisters Margaret, Violet (Dave) and Norma; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lynda was predeceased by her mother, Lena, her father, Joseph, older brother Joe and younger brother Steve.
Lynda was a sweet, kind and generous soul, who would do anything for her family and those she loved. She had a quick wit, keen intelligence and a genuine smile, that we will all miss. Heaven has gained an angel and will be a more beautiful place with her there.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, but there will be no memorial service at this time.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish to honour her memory, please consider donating to the KW Humane Society or a local Humane Society in her name, as that was an organization near and dear to her heart.
