Passed away with the love of her family, music and laughter surrounding her at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, December 19, 2024 in her 77th year.
Lynda Behm (nee Sambridge) of Lapasse, loving wife of Nelson Behm. Dear mother of John Murray (Melissa), Robert Murray (Tammy), and David Murray (Tracy). Stepmother of Ronald Behm (Patricia), Ann Marie Yost (Ken), Donald Behm and Christine Behm. Survived by sister Darlene Sambridge. Lynda held a special place in her heart for her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Horace and Marie Sambridge (nee Thorton), stepson Adrian Behm, granddaughter Crystal Murray Wetheral, and siblings Bruce, Jo-Ann & David Sambridge.
Respecting Lynda’s wishes and honouring the joy she always found in a good party, friends and family are invited to the Lapasse Community Hall, 86 Lacroix Bay Rd, Westmeath (across from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church) on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for a luncheon to share stories, food, laughter, and music. Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Cancer Care would be appreciated.
