Louise Thomson, cherished daughter of Gary and Andrea (Cuthbertson).
Louise was taken from us on June 6th, 2024.
Louise was born on February 19th, 1997 in Edinburgh, Scotland. She was adored by her family but especially her Great-Gran Knox and Nana. She walked before she was a year old and started talking phenomenally early. She was delighted by the birth of her brother, Angus, in July, 2000 and they were always close. She moved to Canada with her family when she was 8 years old. They settled in Milton where they were near Louise’s Scottish grandparents and her aunts and their families. Louise enjoyed her school life and was a High School Wrestling Champion and volunteered at Community Living North Halton in the Special Needs Saturday Program.
Louise was so loving, caring and generous. She loved her children and her large family above all things. She did however suffer from mental health issues that made the last few years of her life difficult. Her family does not want her mental health struggles to define her life.
Louise leaves behind her children Elijah, Lilly and Rae as well as her brother, Angus, her parents, her grand parents, aunts, uncles and many cousins who are truly heartbroken at her loss.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation to be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the
McKersie & Early Funeral Home, 114 Main Street East, Milton, ON.
A private family Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home.
The family has requested that, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Louise be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Halton Down Syndrome Foundation ( please see the donation links below )
