Louise Marie Jensen passed peacefully at Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice on August 9, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband and soul mate, Gary Jensen, daughters Sarah and Samantha (Joseph), mother Mary (predeceased by father Clifford), brother Allan Robson (Penny) and best friend Tina Corbett.
Louise will be remembered and missed by many friends and family. She showed her unwavering spirit to everyone lucky enough to know her and always made the best of every part of her beautiful life. She was a resilient woman who loved with an open heart and always found a reason to stay positive.
Special thank you Dr. Freedman and the oncology department at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa for her continued care through her 14 year battle with cancer, and to Dr. Mule of the palliative care department at Northumberland Hills Hospital for his kindness and compassion during her final months.
Celebration of life to be held at Knights of Columbus Community Centre at 232 Spencer Street East in Cobourg on Sunday, August 20th from 1-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ed’s House Northumberland Hospice or Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre in Oshawa.
