It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our Mother. She passed away at Eagle Ridge Hospital on October 28, 2023 at the age of 87.
She is predeceased by her husband Milton and her parents Mildred and William Nevard.
She will be missed by her children, Milt Jr. (Julie), Michael, Christi (Bernie), and Cheri (Doug) along with her 6 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, her brother Gary (Brenda) and her best friend Pearl.
Mom was born in Midway, B.C. on January 28, 1936. The family soon moved to Vancouver where she was raised with her brother, Gary. She met her husband Milt in1953 and they got married in 1955. They bought their forever home in Coquitlam where Mom had been lucky enough to have remained in her home as her health declined. It was possible for us all to keep her at home due the services of Fraser Health and especially the daily care by Michael and Cheri. We also had the pleasure of our «Auntie Pearl» helping us out when we needed some respite care. Mom had a great fulfilling life raising her children and travelling the world on many cruises. She was ready to go and it gives us comfort knowing she is in a better place now with Dad.
