Louis Mailloux passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Marie. Beloved father of Christine Derooy (Michael), Julie Brodie (Scott), Karen Blokker (Ron), the late Kevin (2019), and Aline Duval (Mike). Proud pepe of Jennifer, Holly, Jay, Dylan, Deacon, Shealine, Ella, Davyn and Dayna. Great-grandfather of Jessica, Jayden, Dakota, Maddox, Story, and Olivia.
Louis was a dedicated quality control manager of Pioneer Hybrid, and retired after years of service. He loved his sports, corn on the cob, and beer. He loved to have fun with people, always entertaining and making them laugh. He was affectionately known as «Amazing Louis». He was the perfect brother-in-law to many and the best father-in-law anyone could ask for. Dad lived his life in a way that all of his friends and family aspire to be. Our good Lord welcomed him and I’m sure said, «Well done Louis. Well done.»
Cremation has taken place. The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life Ceremony. If desired, donations in Louis’ memory may be made to Chatham Kent Hospice.
