Louis Gaeten DeGuire, 38, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away suddenly on March 2, 2023.
Louis was born on December 31, 1984 to Lorraine (nee Carter) and Garry DeGuire in Stephenville, Newfoundland.
Louis was an amazing son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson, and friend.
Though he was very much a free spirited human being, he was blessed with incredible kindness and selflessness that never failed to light up any room or situation. Louis found solace in nature through fishing, camping, swimming, hiking, beachcombing, exploring , capturing many of these endearing moments through his love of photography.
Louis’ greatest asset in this life was his devotion to helping others.
He was both counsellor and protector, putting others and their needs above his own.
His family was everything and he loved them with a passion and a commitment unparalleled in our world.
Though his physical presence will be sorely missed, he will live on in our hearts and minds as we strive to emulate those qualities that made Louis the amazing man he was.
The following family that Louis loved and left behind are his much loved parents, Lorraine (nee Carter) and Garry Deguire, best friend and older brother Junior (girlfriend Ashley Archer), adored niece and nephew, Katelyn and Carter (mother Patricia Kindon).
Aunts and Uncles…Lynny, Natalie, Chuck, Patricia, Annette, Alex, Debbie and Oliver.
Cousins… Danny, Jamie, Stephanie, Alyssa, Jacob, Anna, Samuel, Mikey, Melissa, Megan, Nathan, Brandon, Zachary, Jacob, Isaiah, and Isabelle.
His beloved Paternal Grandparents…PaPa (Gaeten Deguire) and wife Vivian Henderson. Predeceased by Louis are his Maternal Grandparents, Cora (nee Wheeler) and Louis Carter. Paternal Grandmother Sheila (nee McMartin) Deguire
His Uncle Gerard Carter. And last but not least his much loved cat, Precious.
When thinking of Louis, find him up in the skies, in the beautiful sunsets and up in the stars. His spirit will always live within nature and the beautiful skies.
