Lorraine Jessie Alexander (Nee Carr)
December 24, 1927 – December 3, 2024
Peacefully and surrounded by her family, Lorraine passed away at home on December 3, 2024, just three weeks shy of her 97th birthday.
Predeceased by her husband John Alexander, lovingly remembered by her daughter Faith (Glenn Wood), son John (Sue), and grandchildren Jessica, Jackson and Samuel.
Lorraine was a cherished friend to many, a lover of birds, animals, books, baking and all things Christmas. Her conversations were always spirited, her butter tarts and shortbread were legendary.
Special thanks to Dr. Price, Dr. Rodrigues, Dr. Ferguson, Dr. Mauro, Dr. Tepper, Dr. Linney, Joanne Murdoch, and Care Partners PSWs for their compassionate & loving care.
At her request private interment at Westminster Memorial, Toronto.
