Lorraine Juliette Doiron, 82, of
Bas-Cap-Pelé, passed away on Saturday April 8, 2023, at her
residence. Born in Bas-Cap-Pelé, she was the daughter of
the late François and Delphine (Donelle)
Porelle.
Prior to her retirement, she worked at
Cormier-LeBlanc Lobster Factory for 32 years. She enjoyed being a
homemaker. She found much joy in her grandchildren and more recently
her great-grandchildren. She always had a cat in the house, sometimes
two and she leaves behind her cat Muffin. She was an avid bingo player
along with her sister. In her earlier years, she loved to bowl.
Throughout her marriage she enjoyed playing cribbage with her husband
and loved going to tournaments.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Yvon
Doiron; a son, Ronald (Angele) of Shediac; a daughter, Monique Doiron
(Michel) of Bas-Cap-Pelé; three grandchildren: Sophia,
Michelle, and Gabriel; two great-grandchildren: Jayin and Alrielle, as
well as her nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of
her immediate family.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her
eldest son, Raymond (2017); two sisters: Estelle Landry and Catherine
Vienneau; two brothers: Ernest and Azor; two infant
brothers.
The family would like to say thank you to a very
special person, Cheri Moore, for love, support, and
dedication.
In respect to Lorraine wishes, there will be no
visitation and no funeral service. A private family memorial will be
held. In memory of Lorraine, a contribution to charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements

Cap-Pelé (506-577-3297).
