Mom passed away at the Lions Prairie Manor, the evening of March 30th, 2024 at the age of 94 years after a long battle with Dementia and a devastating stroke on March 22nd.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Don, parents Perce & Gertrude Sherritt, brothers; Ted and Arn, and sister Rowena Gibb. She is survived by her daughter Lynda, son Bob, sister Velma Doupe, sister-in-law Elaine Wood, along with many cousins and their families and friends.
We would like to thank the Lions Prairie Manor staff for mom’s excellent care during her almost 4 years residing with them, and their compassion for us in the 9 grueling days after her stroke. You folks are wonderful!

A Celebration of Mom’s Life will take place at Knox United Church, 155 – 2nd St., Oakville, on Saturday, April 6th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow the service at the Oakville Cemetery.
