Peer, Loraine Gloria (Odorjan) (January 25, 1947 – December 15, 2024)
It is with deep sadness, that we the family of Loraine Gloria (Odorjan) Peer, wish to announce her peaceful passing following a courageous struggle with illness, at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, on December 15th, 2024, at the age of 77.
Loraine was born in Welland, Ontario to the late Olga (Tretiak) Odorjan (March 14, 2019) and the late Paul Odorjan Sr. (April 26, 2006). Loraine is survived by her loving and much-loved husband of 47 years, Douglas Grant Peer, of Tillsonburg. Her loving children and their families Randy (Wanda) Peer, of Oil City, Ontario and their sons Brayden and Carson; Shelley Eden (Mark), of Delhi and her daughter Alissa (her children Emry and Hennesey). Also lovingly remembered by her siblings Paul Odorjan Jr., of Tillsonburg and Jerry (Kim) Odorjan, of Tillsonburg, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Loraine was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Tillsonburg.
Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. in the Maurice J. Verhoeve Funeral Homes Chapel, 262 Broadway, Tillsonburg. In keeping with Loraine’s expressed wishes, a traditional Funeral Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, by Rev. Fr Seejo John. Burial follows in St. Ladislaus R.C. Cemetery, Courtland. Friends, neighbours and relatives are invited to share personal condolences, favourite memories, photos, or contribute memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation or to St. Mary’s Parish via Loraine’s online tribute page at www.verhoevefuneralhomes.com or by contacting the Maurice J.
