Peacefully surrounded by his family at
the Halifax Infirmary on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 of Lloyd Blanchard of
Charlottetown age 76 years.
Beloved husband of the late
Sandra Blanchard (nee Gormley) and dear father of Carrie (Ibrahim)
Lloyd Jr., Cheryl (Danny) Thompson. Loving Da to
Kelsie (Noah) Koady, Hilary, Hannah, Matthew and
Abbie. Great grandfather to Gracie and
Hunter. Brother of Ray (deceased) (Carol) and Donna
(Jim) MacIntyre. Brother in law to Mary (deceased), Johnny (Brenda)
Patsy (Gary deceased), Doris (deceased), Melvin, Reggie
(deceased)(Cecila deceased), Joe (Marion), Paul (Tracy) and
Nancy. Lloyd will also be missed by his many nieces
and nephews, great friends and his Saturday Morning coffee buddies.
Lloyd was a buddy to many! He was predeceased by his parents Vernon
and Marion Blanchard.
Resting at the Hennessy Cutcliffe
Charlottetown Funeral Home until Monday, May 20, 2024, then
transferred to St. Pius X Church for funeral mass at 10:00
am. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on
Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
If so desired memorial contributions may
be made to the Charlottetown Branch of The Royal Canadian
Legion.
