Obituary
On Wednesday, January 18th, 2023, supported by his loving wife Ruthie and his tenderhearted caregivers, Lloyd Sharpe passed away peacefully at the age of 95.
Lloyd lived a fulfilling life as a son, husband, father, grandpa and as our beloved GG.
Some of his favourite pastimes were attending auctions (for anything), visiting with family and friends and driving around Baynes Lake at an idle! Thank you so much to his gracious neighbours who kept an eye out for Lloyd coming down the middle of the road.
Ruth and family extend their gratitude to the Fernie medical community and to the staff and families at the Rocky Mountain Care Village, Fernie, B.C. for their kind, compassionate care and ongoing support.
A private internment service will take place at the Elko cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to honour Lloyd’s life can make a donation in his name to their charity of choice.
