It is with tremendous sadness the family of Llewlyn Hewlin announce his passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point on Friday December 20th,2024 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with many wonderful memories his wife of 57 years Velma. Children; David Hewlin, Stephen Hewlin (Roxanne), Jennifer Hewlin and grandchildren; Joshua Hewlin and Will Hewlin. His siblings; Edith (Arnold) Guinchard, Ira Hewlin, Peter (Rona) Hewlin, Marilyn (Rod) Brown, Diane (Rufus) Payne and Jane (Mike) Payne. Also leaving to mourn are other nieces, nephews other extended family and friends.
Llewlyn was predeceased by his parents Bertram and Alma Hewlin. Sister Florence Newman: Brothers; Stephen Hewlin, Hiriam Hewlin, John Hewlin and nieces; Patricia Guinchard and Marilyn-Ann Newman.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the long term care at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.
In keeping with LLewlyn’s wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
