It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Lisa Shannon Melville on July 24th, 2023. Lisa achieved great things in her years as an embroider, leather worker, business owner and entrepreneur. She wore the hats of being a mother, aunt, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend.
She was an incredibly unique and loyal individual. Lisa had the strength of a warrior and courage that was unimaginable. She was the type of person you could always depend on. If Lisa cared about someone, they knew it. She was an ‘all or nothing’ type of woman, with very little that phased her.
Most people would know her as a ‘No BS’ type of person, with a twisted sense of humor, who often found things entertaining. Those who knew her well, will miss those unique qualities.
She lived an interesting life filled with stories and experiences. She did have her struggles in life but found immense happiness and peace in her beautiful yard overlooking the river, with her beloved animals and her many horses over the years. Lisa’s love for horses and animals will live on through her family for generations to come <3. Family and friends are comforted during this difficult time by knowing that Lisa is finally at peace with those she cherished and her predeceased older brother John. Today she leaves behind her two daughters and one son, granddaughter, mother, brother, niece, and nephew as well as other family members and close friends. We wish her all the peace in the universe and will cherish the happy memories and good times. See you in the next life Mom. <3 Until we meet again.
