It is with broken hearts and tear filled eyes, that the family of the late Lisa Caroline Brown-Bobbett, originally of Rock Harbour, NL announces her passing. Lisa passed away at home on April 30, 2024 at the age of 52. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband and soulmate of 21 years; Everett Bobbett; parents, Charles & Bertha Brown; brother, Brian Brown (Angela); her «precious angels»: niece, Clarissa and nephew, Drew; parents-in-law, Matthew and Elsie Bobbett; brothers-in-law: Dean and Alvin (Kelly); and sisters-in-law: Romaine (Hubert) and Wanda (Jeff); aunts: Mary, Lavinia (James), and Irene (Randy); uncles: Samuel (Linda), and Godfather Arthur (Jeanette); and her many cousins whom she loved like brothers and sisters; along with a large circle of extended family and friends.
Lisa was predeceased by her grandparents: James & Caroline Brown, and Onslow and Bertha Vallis; uncles, Eli, Tom, Onslow Jr., and Stephen; and aunts: Georgina (George) and Shirley (Clyde).
Lisa was her daddy’s girl from the day she was born until her very last day, and was always very close with her mom who was always just a phone call away. She loved her family dearly, but no one compared to the love of her life and her soulmate, Everett. He was the apple of her eye and the man she wanted to spend every moment with. Her friendly nature drew people to her, and in almost 30 years of retail work she made many lifelong friends, who loved her back. She spent some of her spare time knitting, crafting, and taking pictures. Lisa had a gentle heart, never wanting to see flowers fade and loving the playful dance of the butterfly. She was, and will forever be, loved!
Visitations for Lisa will be held privately, and a funeral service will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home on:
Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lisa may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
