SAINT-LOUIS-DE-KENT, NB – It is with profound
sadness that the family announces the passing of Lionel LeBlanc 85, of
Saint-Louis-de-Kent at the Stella Maris Hospital in Ste. Anne de Kent
on Sunday, May 12, 2024. Born in Rogersville, he was the son
of the late Camille LeBlanc and late Celina (Comeau)
LeBlanc. Before retiring, Lionel was a
carpenter.
Lionel will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years,
Thérèse LeBlanc of St. Louis; one daughter,
Bernadette LeBlanc of Moncton; one son, Kevin LeBlanc (Lori) of
Moncton; three very special grandchildren, Katie, Kodie and Kianah and
three great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four sisters, Alice Cote, Albertine
Rousel, Yvette Lanteigne, Dorina Lanteigne; sister-in-law, Leona
LeBlanc, Thérèse LeBlanc and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters,
Rosalie, Melanie and three brothers, Eugene, Ovila and
Jean-Baptiste.
As per Lionel’s wishes there will be no visitation
at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, May 24, 2024 at the St. Louis des Français Roman
Catholic Church in
Saint–Louis-de-Kent.
