May 10, 1947 – March 1, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Linda Weber on March 1, 2024 at her home in St Jacobs, with her family by her side. Linda was in her 77th year.
Linda is survived by her children Heather Weber, Scott (Barb) Weber and Kathy (Mark) Brookes. Cherished Grandma to Ashley (Justin) Pond, Briana (Noah) Ruppert, Jake Weber and Shannon Weber. Gigi to Emma and Lauren Pond. She is also survived by her sister Nancy (Steve) Heldman and nephew Joshua Heldman. She will be missed by her in-laws, Marcy (Aki) Ninomiya, Helen Weber, Brenda (Murray) Calder, Donna Weber and Paul Tomlin, Susan (Bill) Schmitz, along with many nieces and nephews.
Linda is predeceased by her soulmate Clare (2021), her parents Laverne (1960) and Margaret (2004) Rieck, her in-laws Nelson (2012) and Lovina (2003) Weber, brother in-law Robert Weber (2011) and niece Pamela Snyder (2011).
Linda helped build the family businesses, Weber’s Fabricating and C-Max Fire Solutions. Linda loved playing cards, reading and visits with the Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 8, 2024 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church, 1310 King St. N., St. Jacobs followed by a light reception. In Linda’s memory, donations to Toronto SickKids Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
A private family gathering will take place at Memory Gardens at a later date.
