In hospital on Monday, May 1, 2023, in her 76th year. Predeceased by her son David; sister Cheryl McCoy; niece Carrie Moulton and nephew Neil Granigan. Dear sister of Judy Neimann, Brian Hobbs (Janet Leppard), Dawn Granigan. Loving aunt of Amber, Erin, Ken, Benjamin, Ken, Rob, Shari, Ed and Cory. Linda will also be lovingly remembered by her many great nieces and nephews, Kent, Julie, Jackson, Ace, Freyja, Jayden, Vander, Ian, Callum, Mika, Gabriel, Emma and Nathaniel; and her closest friends Jane Hepworth and Sheila Jones.
Linda was a teacher for the Ottawa Carleton School Board for over 30 years. Following her retirement, she continued to tutor and was very active with the Munster Union Cemetery and the Goulbourn Museum.
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Queensway Carleton Hospital Emergency Dept. and the Ottawa General Hospital I.C.U. for their exceptional care during her final days.
Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Thursday, May 11th from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm. and Friday, May 12th at Munster United Church from 11:30 until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment Munster Union Cemetery followed by a reception at Munster United Church. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Munster Union Cemetery, 8269 Fallowfield Rd, Ashton, ON K0A 1B0, Goulbourn Museum, 2064 Huntley Rd., Stittsville, ON K2S1B8 or the Ottawa Hospital Foundation.
