Linda Naomi (Simpson)
Brown – 76, of Billtown, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024
surrounded by love at Orchard Court, Kentville. Born in Kentville, she
was a daughter of the late Wallace and Hazel (Lacey) Simpson. Linda
was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and
friends. She is survived by daughter, Cheryl (David) Lord, Kentville;
son, Wayne, Centreville; grandsons, Kaiden Brown and Ethan Brown, both
of Centreville; sisters, Helen (Gary) Brown, Centreville; Joyce
Brewster, Enfield; brothers, Leslie, Calgary; Bill (Kay), Kentville
and Curtis (Elizabeth), Billtown; many nieces and nephews and extended
family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by
husband, Linden «Bob» Brown; brother, John Simpson;
sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Silver) Simpson and Nina (Patterson)
Simpson; brother-in-law, Michael Brewster and daughter-in-law, Amanda
Brown. The family would like to thank Dr. Matthew Targett and Dr.
Robert Gunn for their excellent care and special thanks to the staff,
CCAs, LPNs and RNs at Orchard Court for their kindness, compassion and
wonderful care during the 13 months she was there. There will be no
visitation. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024
at 1:00 p.m. (with livestream) in the White Family Funeral Home,
Kentville, Reverend Chris Johnston officiating. Burial to follow in
the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. Donations in memory may
be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or a charity of your
choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. For
