The family announces with sorrow the passing of Linda Marie Pawson on Friday November 1st after a short illness.
Born on July 19, 1948 in Cochrane, Ontario to Lucienne and Roy Pawson. Linda Marie Pawson was a devoted daughter, sister, friend and aunt. She is survived by her sister Louise Szczebonski (Alex, deceased) and brother Edward (Monique). Linda was beloved by her nieces and nephews: Kylie Morton (Craig), Deborah Chenier(Daniel), Shelly Lamarche (Roger), Amy (Dave), and Chad (Sarah). Much loved too by her great nieces and nephews: Gérard, Felix, Fredrick, Connor and Caileigh. Fun-loving and carefree, Linda was the life of the party, the aunt who took us on adventures and made visits so fun. She was the aunt who loved us like we were her own children, helping us to become the parents and aunts and uncles we are today.
For the last 8 months of her life, Linda was a resident of Streamway Villa in Cobourg, On. Despite her illness Linda thrived, was loved and cared for by staff that truly made this home for her.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Charitable donations to Streamway Villa resident council are much appreciated.
