It is with deep Sadness and Love that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother
Linda Leppik who reached the age of 100 this past summer.
The Leppik and Keefer families are in deep mourning for our “Ema ” who had overcome so many challenges in the past.
This included Escaping the War in Europe starting a new life in Sweden and Canada , and her husband’s passing away very prematurely.
Her Estonian cultural and Church life and dutifulness to her family were her priorities.
She was a very talented and giving person.
Linda’s health challenges had surfaced a few times but she always overcame them
She died quite suddenly at Sunnybrook Hospital this last Saturday evening, transported there with emergency medical concerns.
She had been residing at “Suomi Koti ” nursing home for a few months
She had been resilient enough to remain in her own home til 99 years of age under my care.
I was at my mother’s bedside several hours and there was some hope that interventions might go positively.
She passed away peacefully to her eternal sleep and is now under God’s care
“Ema “, “We miss you deeply” and will always remember your tenderheart and we will keep it close to ours
